Ministries

The purpose of the Beautifying Ministry is to enhance the cosmetic appearance of the house of the Lord, and to make our surroundings a beautiful place in order to make the worship experience enjoyable.

The Mission of the Communications Ministry at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church is to creatively promote the various ministries. Promoting our church ministries will be done through various activities, programs, and services.

The purpose of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide an effective teaching ministry that facilitates comprehensive Christ-centered growth by member participation in bible study and Sunday School. Subsidiaries of this ministry include our tutorial program and Mentoring Ministry.

The purpose of the Mission Ministry of Olivet Missionary Baptist Church is to encourage its members to pray and assist persons of the world in need through the missionary arm of the church.

The purpose of the Pastor’s Love ministry is to support the Pastor through gifts and acts of kindness. They are also in charge of Pastor’s Appreciation Month.

The Usher Ministry’s purpose is to help Olivet Missionary Baptist Church accomplish its overall mission by presenting a positive and loving atmosphere at worship services.

The Youth Ministry’s purpose is to facilitate spiritual education and growth activities that enlighten and promote unity and preparedness for responsibility in the functions of the church.
